Mr. Wartman is the current Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee. He has been an active member for over 20 years and is committed to ensure that proposed transportation projects are responsive to the community's perceived needs and goals. A former member of the original MDX board, he has lived in South Florida for over 40 years. He attended Florida International University where he wrote his master's thesis on traffic and transportation. Mr. Wartman was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist and his term expires April 2009.
