MDX Unveils Kitty Roedel Bike Path |

On Saturday, December 8, 2007, MDX opened a two-mile bike path stretching from N.W. 87th to N.W. 107th Avenue. Named after former MDX Board Member Kitty Roedel, who served from 1995-2005, the path is an acknowledgement of her leadership in incorporating greenways in transportation improvement projects. The bike path is part of an extensive beautification project along the western portion of SR 836 through to 137th Avenue that will include native plantings, a wide array of palm trees, flowering trees and shrubs. |
