The Finance Department is responsible for sound fiscal management of all MDX's assets, and strives to provide accountability and transparency to our commuters, bondholders and community leaders. Our primary purpose is to safeguard and oversee MDX's assets, as well as, report on the financial condition of MDX.
In addition to preparing the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), which is subject to an annual independent audit, MDX's Finance Department files various required reports with the State and other third party organizations. The Finance Department also prepares and oversees the annual operating budget, oversees debt issuance, administers existing obligations, oversees toll revenue and provides support to all MDX departments.
We invite you to review all our financial reports and the progress MDX is making toward moving Miami-Dade County forward.
MDX Credit Rating Reports are created by various credit rating agencies.
