Five-Year Work Program

As our community continues to expand, there is an increased need to provide safe, reliable and sustainable transportation solutions. The MDX Five-Year Work Program is a series of ongoing projects that expand the current expressway network and introduce state-of-the-art technology to improve the efficiency of the existing MDX system.

To keep Miami-Dade Moving Forward, the projects included in the Five-Year Work Program change as priorities are reevaluated, projects are completed, new projects are identified and MDX's financial resources evolve. It is estimated that through the Five-Year Work Program more than 13,400 jobs will be created and will have an estimated economic impact of $1.3 billion over five years.
