How Do I Get One?
You open an account with SunPass. To purchase a SunPass transponder and open a SunPass account, or for more information about the SunPass system, click here, or call 1-888-TOLL-FLA.
For your convenience SunPass is now available at your local Eckerd and Publix stores. Just pick up a pre-packaged transponder for $25 at the checkout counter and then go to www.SunPass.com or call 1-888-TOLL-FLA to activate the transponder with a minimum opening balance of $25.
This marks the first time in the U.S. that electronic toll transponders are available over the counter. They are also inter-operable with E-Pass and O-Pass, which are used in the Orlando area. Lee County will be joining the program as soon as the LeeWay electronic toll collection program becomes operable with SunPass early next year.
