JANUARY 1, 2024 - JUNE 30, 2024

From January 1st until June 30th, 2024, users with 40 transactions or more during a month on GMX expressways are eligible for a 20% SunPass discount.

GMX customers will receive a 20% discount credited on their SunPass account the subsequent month. It's anticipated that on average a customer may earn a $72 credit. GMX has allocated $10 million towards the discount program in its 2024 fiscal year budget.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE GMX SOUTH FLORIDA SAVES PROGRAM?

SunPass® Account in Good Standing

Customers with two-axle vehicles only

A SunPass® transponder with 40 or more paid transactions on GMX Expressways within a calendar month

GMX customers traveling on the GMX 5 Expressways

Your SunPass® transponder needs to be properly mounted in your car at all times. Image Tolls (I-Tolls) do not count for the South Florida Saves Program. When your SunPass® transponder is not properly mounted in your car, an image of your license plate is taken in order to bill your SunPass® account or send you an invoice. These Image Tolls or I-Tolls are not counted as part of the 40 required transactions.

HOW TO VIEW YOUR GMX SOUTH FLORIDA SAVES PROGRAM CREDIT

Select "Activity" from the left side menu options

Select "Filter by Adjustments" and DO NOT enter Transponder Number

Select the 1st of the month as "Start Date" and the last day of the month as "End Date" to coincide with the month you would like to review

Click on "View"

Click on "View Receipt" to see your GMX South Florida Saves' Credit

If you have an account with multiple SunPass® transponders you will be able to see if you have qualified for a credit on each transponder.
