MDX SR 836/Turnpike Ramp Connector
The SR 836/Dolphin Expressway-HEFT Connector project, which began in May 2022 and is scheduled for completion in Spring 2024, is a design-build project that will significantly improve access to the commercial, industrial, and residential areas west of Florida’s Turnpike. The project is currently building the soil retaining walls for the four new ramps, including a new movement connecting southbound Florida’s Turnpike to westbound Dolphin Expressway. Drivers will notice temporary barrier walls being installed throughout the corridor and can expect intermittent lane closures on SR 836 and Telemundo Way.
